Continuing with my progress to become more vocal about my own feelings with everyone, it reminds me of the first time I knew I was in love with Michael.

This was way back when we were a very young couple, maybe a month and a half in.  I had Columbus day off (or some kind of national holiday) and he didn't so I decided to go to the Subway right next to his work and have lunch together.  I wanted to look nice in case he gave me a tour of his office so I wore a black top with a pink skirt along with heels.  Because I knew his sandwich order ahead of time, I got to the Subway first and ordered for the both of us and waited at the table.

He looked so good when he came through the door with his sharp business clothes and a new haircut.  We proceeded to eat and as we did, somehow we started talking about how I felt this pressure to always be happy in front of everyone.  Then he looked me in the eye and told me "I want you to feel however way you feel. If you feel sad, then its okay to be sad."  He sounded so genuine and sincere.  At that moment, I felt the need to cry for joy in my inner core and then I thought to myself "I'm in love." 

So as attached as we are to the hip, he has also been a very nurturing and encouraging source to define my individuality.  I don't know how I can ever thank him enough for it.
