The great Steamed ARC Contest Contest is now over, and I've been through the many excellent entries to pick ten that I thought were unique. I will say that it was difficult to winnow down the suggestions to just ten--you guys had some great ideas!

Keep in mind that if your suggestion didn't make the final ten, that doesn't mean you're out of the running for an ARC. The person who suggested the top voted idea will receive an ARC of Steamed, but that won't be the end of things, no sir!

I will pick one of the suggestions from the vote list and use it for the actual Steamed ARC contest, where five more ARCs will be given away.

So, it´s Saturday, I have nothing to do and I live in Germany - great coinsidence. Just a shame that I live way too far away from Munich.

This is one of the stupidest of stupids I have ever had to hear about! I honestly didn't think this kind of thing went on anymore.. I'm especially mortified to think the person that did this works with me. I'm notorious for taking in lost/abandoned/unwanted animals and re homing them and I cant understand why this person wouldn't have asked me! I would have taken them all in a heartbeat :(. Anyway, on with the horrible story..

My boyfriend and I both work at the same place. I was walking past his department today when I heard some of his staff gasping and talking rather loudly in a sort of shocked and upset manner.. I stopped to ask what the problem was because I'm a nosey bitch. My boyfriend didn't want them to tell me because he knew it would make me incredibly sad.. but after some badgering I got it out of him. Another lady who works for my boyfriend had drowned a litter of kittens earlier in the week due to the fact that she 'didn't want them'. As if that's not bad enough in itself, right? What a fucking horrible monstrous thing to do.. there were only five kittens and I dont think it would have been that hard to find homes for them. I just get the biggest chills when I think about this woman drowning these five kittens... she explained it to my boyfriend in very great detail and seemed to be boasting about it. Fucking sick. Unfortunately, it gets worse..
Apparently she didn't do such a good job of killing one of them because she found it sitting on top of the compost heap she'd buried the kitten corpses in the the next day.. it was breathing and quite alive.. the poor little thing had dug it's way out of the compost heap after only being half drowned!

And now for the fucking stupidest part.. she says there's 'something wrong with it' because it cant walk very far, cant seem to eat and throws its head around alot. Obviously the poor little thing has sustained some sort of brain damage from being half drowned and probably deprived of oxygen.. horrible as it sounds, I wish she had of just 'finished the job' when she found the half alive kitten but instead has given it to her son who is 'quite attached too it'. I cant say for sure, but I imagine that it's in a bit of pain and I don't think it's very ethical to keep an animal that sustained brain damage as extensive as this kittens' sounds alive. Taking it to the vet is out of the question for these people, if you knew them you'd understand.. veterinarian just not something that's in their vocabulary, they don't seem to believe in spending any money at all on their pets. It makes so mad.

Arghh I cant stop thinking about this poor little kitten.. I'm going to try and convince her to let me have it so that I can either take it to be euthanized or see about helping it. I have a feeling it will be dead by tomorrow evening when I see her.. I'd really like the opportunity to give it a peaceful and dignified death or to try and help it depending on how bad it is.. I'll have to see what she says, as much as I'd like too I cant just steal the thing. Actually.. I think I would consider stealing it, but I don't know where she lives anyway! Lol

!@#$ Today I took the best nap ever. I've been working like a dawwwwg the last couple of weeks. They've been having Erica and I come in at 5:45/6. It's not so bad but there's a horse show in town and them people be bitches.. MMKAY?! Seriously. I hope their horses lose. It's been alright though. The days go by fast. Really fast. Oh yeah, back to the nap business. I haven't been sleeping well and today I was so tired I completely lost it at work. Like, I was helping Erica out in the bakery and I took our doillies and made "hats" out of them. I was laughing so hard I couldn't stand up straight. I put one on Erica and any time she looked at me I just lost it. Our manager didn't even looked phased. He was all "Whatever, they do this all the time." I seriously love my managers.

Oh and at one point, Erica had a customer in the bakery and i was over there and he said something and she said "Well I don't have much." First thing that popped in to my head? "But if I did.. I'd buy a big house where we both could live." She said it with me too. Poor customer was so confused. xD Oh, Panera. You bring me many lulz.

!@#$ So! My NaNo is.. going.. no where. I haven't written on it in like.. A week. Sad thing? If I'd just sit and write it would probably already be done. I'm just procrastinating. I have to crush this poor characters heart and it's harder than I thought it would be. He's just so cute and innocent and his world is gonna come crumbling down around him. I'm delaying it as long as possible, rofl. Erica and I had a plan to go to IHOP and sit at different tables and just write. I'm distracting, so I was like.. we can sit at different tables. She thought it was a good idea. I could only bug her through IM which is easier to ignore than me sitting across from you. Either way, I need to write on my NaNo.

!@#$ I really have nothing interesting going on these days. I sleep, I work, I drive around with Erica. I stay up late and laugh at star trek Pr0ns with Erin and eat Mexican food with Karen. I pirate internet and I watch Frasier. I dunno. Life is just kinda.. chill right now. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. I just wish I had more to update with, rofl.

Hi! I've never posted here before, but I really would love some help on the whole Mall Tours thing. Tomorrow Kellan Lutz, Christian Serratos, and Chaske Spencer are coming. I've never been to one of these before(I live in Canada...We never get things like this. At least the part of Canada I live in, anyways) so, in all honesty, I don't really know what to expect. I'm a tad nervous. I know we're getting a Q&A and a signing. Now, the Q&A part isn't what I'm nervous or confused about. It's the signing. This might be a stupid question, but do I need to bring something for them to sign or do they hand out posters? Please remember I have never been to anything like this before. Like I mentioned.

I just need some help to calm my nerves. :) Thank you in advance.
